Mike and his family joined us in December 2010 as Senior Pastor. Mike graduated from Ozark Christian
College with a Bachelor of Theology and has served churches in Illinois, North Carolina and Kansas,
as well as serving abroad in Baguio City, Philippines. In his role as Senior Pastor, Mike gets to
serve in his area of passion by clearly and creatively communicating God's Word. He also gets to
help people grow in their love for Jesus as they engage their community with the Gospel of
Jesus. Mike's desire is to lead a church to be the church, not just on Sunday, and to be agents of
grace wherever they go. Mike has been married to his beautiful wife, Eskai (pronounced "es-K-uh"),
since Oct 2001. They have two children, Sarai (like "hooray") and Jadon.
Mike is a big sports fan and follows his favorite teams (Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears and Fighting
Illini). In his spare time you may also find him reading, playing his guitar or hanging out
with his family.

Jeff and his family joined SummitView in early 2001, and have taken an active role in
our community. Jeff's passion for teaching and heart for service have found a home at
SummitView as a Pastor-Elder. With God's leading, Jeff seeks to engage the congregation
with Christ-centered, Bible based messages designed to encourage fellowship and build
loving relationships. A Chicagoland native and graduate of Northeastern Illinois University,
Jeff, his wife, Ellen, and their two sons live in Hoffman Estates.
(Lou is the one in the middle in his picture.)
After spending the first part of his life running from God, Lou Muniz is now running in a whole
new direction - towards God. And that with a reckless abandon! At the age of 39, Lou accepted Christ as the leader
of his life, was baptized and began a new chapter in his journey.
In the last thirty one years God has given Lou a variety of opportunities to grow in the ministry
including church planting, counseling and preaching. He is excited in this God-given experience
to work at Summitview as an elder. His greatest passion is teaching/preaching God's word and
seeing God's power and love transform the lives of others.

Alan plays in the Summitview Worship Band and attends the Thursday
night mens group regularly. Alan is also responsible for the SummitviewChurch.org website and
other information technologies. Basically, that makes him a geek that can play guitar. Alan lives
in Saint Charles with his wife Regina and their 3 horses, 8 cats and 3 dogs - yes, that is
correct, we like animals.

"For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more
will those who receive God's abundant provision of grace and of the gift of
righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ"
-Romans 5:17
